Application Failed to initialize 0xc0000142

    every time i shut down computer i get this message
    "application failed to initialize properly 0xc0000142 click ok to terminate" i've only just recently done a Read and Run Me with the help of Chaslang, but it was still happening after that what is this, can anyone shed some light on this for me please.

    Easy fix:
    Bring up command prompt
    type dir csc.exe /s *this will show you all appearances of csc.exe
    In the following directory: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322
    change the name of the csc.exe file to csc.exe.bak
    If you show one on the dllcache folder - rename it as well
    *** Leave the others alone, such as the framework 2 and 3.5 folders.

    Worked for me - hope you find it useful...
