I was wondering if someone could answer questions about Dosbox

HI I was wondering if someone could answer some questions for me about Dosbox witch I have downloaded and installed on Windows Vista Home Basic Dell computer.

I have downloaded and installed Dosbox on my computer but what I am having trouble with is this. I do not now how to mount Drive C on my computer I did not understand the instructions how how to mount a drive which I have Dosbox installed on my drive c. I am not sure how to mount a drive and I am not sure how to get dos game to play in Dosbox. I was also wondering if someone could suggested to me if their is a simpler emulator that would work better for a begining such as myself to play dos games on my computer. I was wondering if their is a free version of an emulator that would work on Windows Vista computers in order to play dos games like Cross Country Canada.
I have never used Dosbox before so please understand that I am a new user of Dosbox.
