What is a low level driver? I have ati tray tools on my pc and it has an option to intall a low level driver. Also, what is shell integration in reference to ati tray tools?

    Hi

Shell Integration is where you can add some menus to the right click context menu of windows so that some options for the ATi driver can be accessed quickly, personally its not a "must" have thing as not often that GFX driver settings are changed and can still be opened from Control Panel.

Low level driver, not 100% on this as it could refer to a few things, but if its in relation to ATi its likely this part of the driver set http://www.behardware.com/news/8316/ati-s-gpus-low-level-access.html
