My sister recently purchased a HP Photosmart C6380 wireless printer. She wants to use it with her fiance's work Laptop that uses a wireless card to connect to the Internet. They don't use a router for this connection. She asked me for help, but I'm not sure. So now I'm asking members of this forum.

My question: Is it possible to hook up this type of wireless printer to a laptop that uses just a wireless card for it's Internet connection?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the links, but I had already googled them before posting in this forum.

I'm not clear as to what needs to be done, or if it can be done with their particular setup. I have no personal experience with Wireless cards, since I use a router.
