PHP Script - WeTV?

I'm a project leader in my school's computer club. Right now my group has decided to create a chatroom for a project; however, the chatroom is to be similar to a site called WeTV which allows users to submit a YouTube URL upon which they may comment. A normal PHP chatroom would work fine for this, but with WeTV, the YouTube video is automatically embedded on the page. Since no one in the group (or club, for that matter) is fluent in PHP (any good resources you can suggest?), can anyone direct me to a free/open source PHP script similar to We-TV?
