I have a Dell Inspiron 546 desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium and Trend Micro. I acquired the Alureon.A and like others removed it with Windows Defender Offline. Now Windows will not boot. I downloaded the fixlist & frst64 to a flashdrive as recommended. When I entered the command, I received this message "k:\frst64 is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file". Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    • As soon as the BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until Advanced Boot Options appears.
    • Use the arrow keys to select the Repair your computer menu item.
    • Select US as the keyboard language settings, and then click Next.
    • Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
