Infected By 2 Trojans Vundo.gen!C & Vundo.gen!E Help Please

So I've been infected with Vundo.gen!C and Vundo.gen!E and it's the same old delete, quarrantine whatever I try it just returns on the next boot. I've tried various scans with the same result. I've been locked out of various admin tasks to boot such as I am no longer able to change my desktop background apart from doing the right click method on a picture but that reverts to the viruses background upon reboot! Oh and just to gain a few groans I'm running Vista Ultimate on my laptop. I've now got a miriad of antivirus, spyware and registry programes running which is probably a bad idea. I am rather desperate to rid myself of this annoyance before it turns into something nasty. I'll go for a simple fix or something more complicated, I'm willing to give anything a go once....within reason?!?!

• If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

• Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Notes:

1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
   
   • Starting your computer in Safe mode
2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
