HP Pavilion a6700y Network & Sound Drivers

Good Evening,

I bought this computer…


HP Pavilion a6700y Desktop PC

Operating Systems: Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

Startup Operating System: Microsoft® Windows® Vista Home Premium 64-bit




I erased the hard drive & installed Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 - 32 bit



As a result I cannot access the internet and I have no sound from my speakers.


I did install the Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g driver, which is functioning well I but still cannot access the web.


I believe I need another Lan Driver:


Driver needed: Integrated 10/100 Base-T networking interface




Please help.

I think tunered missed the fact that you dumped Vista for XP. This is why it's best to not use big and colorful fonts when posting about a problem. Just use normal text like everyone else. It makes the post easier to read and nothing will get skipped. Now, with that out of the way, here's your drivers:

(be sure to install the downloads in the same order as I listed them above; chipset first, and the HD update before the audio driver)
