BF2 1.41 patch

Hey, I'm having trouble installing the 1.41 patch for Battlefield 2. The game installed fine but when I install the 1.41 patch it gets to about 50% complete then fails and closes. The patch file log says:

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the game and installing the patch in safe mode but it just won't work.

Anybody have any ideas?

If you downloaded the patch, it may have been corrupted or "skipped" a part of the download. Try downloading the patch again and run that new downloaded patch.

I would include a link for a patch for you but it's frowned upon here.

Ok tried that, and I also tried downloading it from 3 different sources with the same result.
