    Hello,

Apologies if this has been previously addressed, but I couldn't find much by searching through the forums.

I'm wondering if there is a way to permanently hide/remove recently visited sites from the Google home page in the Chrome browser?

I have set Chrome to "Keep local data only until I quit my browser," and installed the Click & Clean extension from the Chrome Web Store and set it to "Delete private data when Chrome closes," (http://www.howtogeek.com/137681/how-to-automatically-clear-private-data-when-you-close-your-browser/) but neither of these actions are deleting those recently viewed sites from the Google home page.

Judging by the amount of complaints found through googling, there are a lot of people who hate this, so I'm hoping there's a work around out there that I just haven't found yet. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would sincerely appreciate it!

I'm running Mac OS X v. 10.6.8, and Chrome version 30.0.1599.101 (up to date at time of posting).

Has anyone successfully used Click & Clean for this purpose? :S
