   Anyone know of a freeware version of a serial port comm software like Procomm Plus. I need to transfer files to a machine tool using ascii format. Hyperlink will work, but I can't find my old 98 install cd and it was not installed on the computer.

   Win 98 had DCC where you could use a fast parallel cable too. If not Ethernet not an option?
