Dont really know what happend but I had to reinstall my OS! I Was on my favorite poker site and then all of a sudden my computer started acting weird. I tried to exit and things just froze that is when I unhooked my internet connection but it was too late as something shut my firewall off and wiped out all my system restore points. I got my computer back to where it at least works now and I wanted to know if I should run all programs as suggested in spyware/malware removal and then do a post to see if there is something still there. Thank you

    Posting Logs

Here are my logs after I done a clean install after I caught something that shut down my firewall and wiped out all my restore points. I posted earlier and figured I'd go ahead and do the scans to see if things are indeed back to normal. Thank you and I'm running windows XP Home edition FYI !

Since you did a clean install, everything was wiped, including any malware that was on your system.

    Your logs are clean.

If you are not having any other malware issues, then:

Thanks for the response and I deleted all that you suggested. I ran into an issue with spybot tring to delete it saying that "cannot delete SDHelper.dll" Access is denied blah blah.....but I don't think it means much (which I'm hoping it don't). I will be getting rid of the factoy firewall that comes with XP which is where I will start to better protect myself against what happend. No better place to find one than here I guess so I'll get er done. Appreciate the input !!!

Ok I chose the online armor firewall (which sorta reminds me of zone alarm) and Avria anti virus which when I done a scan it found two folders it couldn't gain access to :confused So I'll attach the log from it to see if this is something I need to look into or if it's cool. Anyway computer seems to be a little slower than it was B4 all this took place and every now and then when a web page loads I got sections of my desktop screen that shows through. Sometimes if I minimize and restore it acts right but other times it dont!

Those files are not a problem...they are part of the operating system.

The issues you still have are either a software or hardware problem, so I would suggest that you continue this in either of those forums. :)
