Firefox Mouse Gestures (Ubuntu 8.04, Hardy)

I am running Ubuntu 8.04 HH and I cannot turn off the mouse gestures in firefox no matter what I try, it's literally driving me insane. Please help.

Bingo. Solved. Not quite what I had done but the default "Ubuntu Firefox Modifications" extension enabled mouse gestures once I disabled that mouse gestures are gone. I just hope I don't loose other functionally. But I guess if I do I can just enable it again.

PS - For anyone: What else does the "Ubuntu Firefox Modifications" extension do besides mouse gestures? Do I need to be concerned about disabling this?
