    Still unsolved
checked in bios for audio settings change none
    updated to altest bios nadda

ran realtek setup in many diferent compatibility modes nadda it just takes like 2seconds then says plz restart

    installed the driver manually
then i have high definition audio controller cannot start
realtek high definition audio cannt start

when i reboot the realtek one goes away
very frustrating been googling called intel, asus, and realtek with a bunch of run around

just make sure you are getting the right version(s) of the drivers
    chipset Version 9.1.1.1019
audio Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.5904 for Windows Vista 32bit/Vista 64bit/7 32bit/7 64bit should be 72.6 mb you shouldn't need to run in any kind of compatibility mode, tho you might want to right-click and run as administrator.

    noticed**
when i Uninstall the 27CC Enhanced USB host driver
my audio card uninstalls and all 20+ unknown devices go away..
    interesting

    maybe the problem lies here.
also unshure if i am installing the correct realtek drivers as it dosnt display the version number anywhere in setup.

im reinstalling windows 7 again. so drivers are clean

sent MONO into asus and as it turns out its a common MOBO defect in the board. they sent me a new one with a guarantee that it wouldnt happen with the new MOBO, all it cost was $10 in shipping.

    Hi

Thats good and is the issue now not appearing with the new mobo?

Do check Device Manager for any yellow ! marks as that highlights any driver issues.
