    From the WeatherUnderground website, I am trying to download what they call a weather sticker onto my Desktop. The directions are:
    "Click on any Weather StickerĀ®
    Copy the HTML code on the resulting page
    Paste it into your HTML"
    I can do the first two, but I don't know where my HTML is. Is this enough info for someone to be able to explain? Thanks.

    Open notepad & type
    <html>
    paste the code from the website
    <a href="http://www.wunderground.com/US/OH/West_Chester.html?bannertypeclick=bigwx"><img src="http://weathersticker.wunderground.com/weathersticker/bigwx_cond/language/www/US/OH/West_Chester.gif" alt="Click for West Chester, Ohio Forecast" border="0" height="60" width="468" /></a>

    add
    </html>

    Save as weather.htm say on C:
    Now to get it on the desktop open display by right clicking on the desktop and selecting properities.
    Click Desktop Tab> Customize Desktop > Web Tab
    Click New & Browse to the weather.htm file you saved.
    Ok & apply
    Now you can resize and drag it around.

    Actually add
    <html>
    paste the code from the website
    <a href="http://www.wunderground.com/US/OH/West_Chester.html?bannertypeclick=bigwx"><img src="http://weathersticker.wunderground.com/weathersticker/bigwx_cond/language/www/US/OH/West_Chester.gif" alt="Click for West Chester, Ohio Forecast" border="0" height="60" width="468" /></a>

    <script language="JavaScript">
    <!--
    if (document.images)
    setTimeout('location.reload(true)',1000*3600); // forces a reload from the server
    else
    setTimeout('location.href = location.href',1000*3600); // just reloads the page
    //-->
    </script>
    </html>

    For it to updae every hour

    JS borrowed from Experts Exchange.
    Change the 3600 to a lower number for faster updates (60) for a minute.

    Sorry, foogoo, but I blew it. I forgot to change my signature when I got my laptop with Vista. I now have two computers (the other has XP) and I must remember to mention which one I'm referring to. It's the one with Vista that I am using now and when I open Display by right-clicking on the Desktop, there is no Properties option. It's Personalize, and there are none of the tabs you mentioned, such as Desktop, etc. How do I do what you suggested with Vista?
