Hp ZE4101 laptop.password locked

Hi,I bought a laptop and when i power it on it ask for a password,I have tryed everything i can find to try to get it reset and no luck,It does not have a cmos battery to take out as far as i can see to reset the bios,i have not removed the cpu fan to look under there yet but i do not think it is there.From the info i have found it does not have 1.It does not have a floppy drive to make a bootable floppy.I am not a wiz at these things and could use some help.thanks

 

See if you can add a floppy. Theyre peanuts cheap, or give new hardrive a shot.
Alternativly look at this or unless the laptop is *cough cough* 'bought' ask the original owner for the password. If however you did buy it legit you problem is solved if not then you're a bad man

laptop is legit,bought it this way,owner does not remember password.I will try to get a floppy for it.thanks

 

What OS is on the Laptop
Have you tryed to just login with out entering password.
Advanced start up options, F8 boot to safe mode.
If running W2k or XP try this:

It has windows xp on it.Yes i have tryed to login using F8 but same thing happens,small screen saying to put password in.thanks
