    Hello all,

I have a Win2k machine that keeps getting error 7000 in the system log. The service manager is trying to load an executable that isn't present on the machine. I believe that I need to delete the service's entry in the registry. Trouble is, I don't know where these are!

    Anyone have any ideas?

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

    Repeat for each controlset.

    Okay, nevermind now!
I've found the keys that needed to be deleted and got rid of them (with proper b/u of course)

    edit: thanks anyway, Adrynalyne.
