    My fellow geeks,

    After running the steps in the sticky thread, I'm still having issues. The main issue is when I go to a website, half of the time I get re-directed to update my java without clicking anything. Also, internet explorer keeps closing and reloading on it's own. This happened about 1 week ago and has progressively gotten worse. Before the steps from the sticky it was 9/10 times I would be re-directed, now it's only half the time. Attached are the logs from the sticky, and I appreciate any help.

    Fun2Save <<< Uninstall this junk.

    Re run Hitman Pro and have it remove all that it finds.

    [IMG] Fix items using RogueKiller.

    Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7/8 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    When it opens, press the Scan button
    Now click the Registry tab and locate these detections:

    • [PUP] (X64) HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-4240997320-3484519886-651873359-1000\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run | InetStat : C:\Users\Justin\AppData\Roaming\InetStat\inetstat.exe -> Found
    • [PUP] (X86) HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-4240997320-3484519886-651873359-1000\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run | InetStat : C:\Users\Justin\AppData\Roaming\InetStat\inetstat.exe -> Found
    • [PUP] (X64) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\be0fb33b ("C:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe" "c:\progra~2\suppor~1\SupporterSvc.dll",service) -> Found
    • [PUP] (X64) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ControlSet001\Services\be0fb33b ("C:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe" "c:\progra~2\suppor~1\SupporterSvc.dll",service) -> Found
    Place a checkmark next to each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.

    ...and the same for these entries on the Tasks tab please...

    • [Suspicious.Path] UpdaterEX.job -- C:\Users\Justin\AppData\Roaming\UPDATE~1\UPDATE~1\UPDATE~1.EXE (/Check) -> Found
    • [Suspicious.Path] \\UpdaterEX -- C:\Users\Justin\AppData\Roaming\UPDATE~1\UPDATE~1\UPDATE~1.EXE (/Check) -> Found

    When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
    Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    Reboot the machine.

    [IMG] Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

    Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.

    • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
    • Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator
    • Click on the Scan button.
    • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
    • After the scan has finished, click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
    • The contents of the log file may be confusing. Unless you see a program name that you know should not be removed, don't worry about it. If you see an entry you want to keep, let me know about it.
    • Attach the logfile to your next next reply.
    • A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.

    • Now re run Hitman Pro and attach new log.
    • Same for RogueKiller.
    • Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista, Windows7 or Win8) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.
    • Let me know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running!

    Hi Kestrel,

    Thank you for your help.

    Followed your steps, and attached are the logs. Things are running much smoother now. However, when I use firefox, about every 1/10 times I get a random new page out of nowhere, and a new window saying there is something wrong with firefox and it has security risks. Not sure if that is legit or not. I'm using internet explorer right now and all is good there.

    Thank again

    Good morning.

    Before we continue I would like for you to use MSConfig to put this machine back into normal start up mode. Any other mode is primarily used for troubleshooting and diagnostic purposes. You should look into some third party software to control start up's.

    Have Adwcleaner remove what it finds.

    Delete these:

    • C:\ProgramData\4bb027d585052235
    • C:\ProgramData\Fun2Save
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Browser Warden

    Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista, Windows7 or Win8) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.
    Let me know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running!

    Followed your steps and attached are the logs.

    Everything seems to be running great for now. I'll let you know if anything pops up within the next few days.

    Thanks again!

    Excellent. :)

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
