Outlook 2010 problem- .png files don't show up in email text

I am having a problem with an end user at work who got an email with .png files in the body of the text but they aren't seeing the image, they are seeing:

imagename.png

It only shows the file name and not the image. Anyone else run into this issue?

Is there an option to Download Pictures? A lot of times outlook will hide pictures until you display them.

 

No, it did not have them as attachments for download or downloadable. It only showed the name of the file. No red X or anything like that

 

I did the uncheck all pictures in html and it still hasn't fixed the issue

 

Have the end user contact the person who sent the email and have that person resend with the png as an attachment.
