sat pro turning off

    hi there. i have a toshiba sat a45 laptop. i recently put a new m/b in it and installed windows xp. after a few das and installing some software and updates it started to overheat and turn off. i did install inel chipset utils etc. the fans worked fine at first then started to go off. they done come onat all now. tried cleaning and that does not work. does anyone know of any software icould have put init that could do this?. i may have flashed bios as well maybe i did something wrong there? anyone know how i can check if my fans are acctually knackered.any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

    sorry something else just came to mind. the motherboard i bought had a p4 mobile 2.4/512/533 cpu in it. i put my chip out of my one which was a 2.0/128/400 celeron. would this stop the fans working i wonder.?
