AVG 9 Free - Uninstall 8.5 ??

Hi

I want to download & install AVG Free 9 - do I need to uninstall AVG 8.5 free, or is there no need ?

If so, what is the easiest way ?

Personally, whenever a software changes version number, I think it is best to uninstall the old b/4 going with the new. Keeps thing neat and tidy, less chance of problems.

Just a note on AVG, it's gotten somewhat bloated lately with all the extra features. Esp. on machines with less than a gig of RAM, I choose the custom install and then uncheck all the boxes except the top most, for basic virus protection. The full install has been known to bog down machines and I don't think is really worth it.:wave:wave
