I am running a Dell Desktop. Avast came up with suspicious file called KQwAPeBMu30rST.exe it has removed all desktop items all the icons out of the Progams folder as well as other folders. I cannot do a search as that has been disabled. I have managed to launch Internet Explorer via run but when I do a search it re-directs to advert pages.

I have run dskchck but that hasn't worked. Cannot run avast via run as it says it cannot find it.

Tried a google search but this file is not searchable. HELP

    Hello,

[IMG] Please download unhide.exe to your desktop.
    • Now run unhide.exe by double-clicking it. (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    • Be patient as the tool runs.
    • Did this restore the missing (hidden) shortcuts?
    • Attach the unhide.txt file on your desktop. (How to attach)
