    Hello,

I have vista ultimate 32 bit. I need to connect to another pc on my home wired network to access the shared printer. I can't even see the other PC's (they can't see me either) on my network, but I can still access the internet and play games with the other pc's over the lan. Any suggestions on how to get the other pc's to show up and access them?

I do have network detection on also.

    Thanks

Yes. Might I also add the IPv4 is "Internet" IPv6 is "Local"

It is set to private. I will install and run that utility on the xp pc's and get back to you. Thanks

Didn't work :( Last night I tried disabling the firewall on the host pc (the one with the printer) and I could access it from vista. So I think I found the problem, however I can't figure out what to allow through the firewall... I tried allowing my pc's ip complete access with no avail. Might I add that my pc doesn't always show the other pc.
