Gateway 600 Notebook upgrade Question

Hey guys,
I've got an "early production" Gateway 600 notebook with the Radeon 7500M video card. After seeing that the later 600's were equipt with a Radeon 9000M I was curious to find out if a video card swap would be possible. I did a little research and with only processor clock being different, the chipsets are both from the i845MP chipset family.

As far as "Gateway Speak", the early 600 (mine) is a 600YGR, and the later ones were the 600YG2.

 

doubt it...most laptop video cards aren't cards...they are integrated chips. but contact gateway to find out for sure
