First of all I cannot have cable or DSL and all I have is satellite, which won't work. I may be able to get 5gigs of 4g data for my iPhone for tethering to my Xbox. So would I be able to use it for online gaming or would the latency be to high for use. Also does anyone know how muh data Xbox live and psn (just for online gaming. I will not be using it for downloading things) per hour?

You might want to check into your carrier's tethering policy. Some charge extra for it.
