connecting linksys befw11s4 with bell sympatico

need help setting up linksys befw11s4 with bell sympatico please
bell dsl modem connects ok by itself, do i hook up linksys to pc and bell modem to router?
my sister is trying to by-pass bell to use her viewsat free to air dish>
i live 3 hours away from her so i can not be there to try to set it up. And bell sympatico offers no support if you use a router with their products

If you are connecting the Linksys to get Wireless and you have already a Modem/Router then the Linksys as to be configured as a simple Aceess Point.
