Super Anti Spyware killed log-in on all accounts! Including admin

I'm currently fixing a friends laptop that has a few viruses on it including infostealer.gammin (or something close to that).

I ran CCleaner and the all the steps in the "Read & Run me fist" up until Super Anti Spyware.

After the scan had completed I checked all boxes and hit Fix, it then said I had to restart the computer to fix all problems I choose to restart later so I could run the next step of repairing broken network connections. I couldn't find the repair Tab so I decided to restart the computer.

Now it it logs in and then straight back out again within a matter of seconds, I cannot log into the admin account either.

Here is where I think things went wrong:

When SAS had finished and repaired it said(in the log) that some new system files had been installed such as the kernal and all that and that the viruses had been removed.

Can anyone help with getting back into the accounts? This is not my computer and I'm kind of stressing out. Formatting is an option but I'd rather not.

Some infections can wipe out "good" windows files and replace them with their own - often times simply doing the "repair" option from the Windows CD/DVD resolves the problem as those "Critical" files are replaced. We have technology to restore damanged Windows Files, but we are seeing some nasty infections that are wiping out the "backup" copies Windows keeps of those files to restore - so restoring isn't possible without the CD/DVD.

After we resolve the problem, we can post the results back for all to view - we have some diagnostic abilities not available via the forum that we may have you run.
