Arrow keys not moving cursor

Help!
This isnt a real problem but it is frustrating, My keyboard arrow keys used to move my cursor around documents like lotus notes and MS excel. Last week the arrows started only scrolling the page instead of moving the cursor. Really annoying when using a spreadsheet.. I humbly request some advice...

It's called,... the scroll lock button. You'll find it on your keyboard as ScrLk. Press it... and you'll see one of the 3 lights on your keyboard go off, (1 light for Cap Locks, 1 for Number Locks, and 1 for Scroll Lock)

 

Thanks oldman. but it wasnt the scroll lock, it works fine in Microsoft word, but not in Lotus notes or Mozilla thunderbird...It is my work pc and I will recheck it again tomorrow. But I am sure I checked that first...we will see.

 

Open your Accessibility Options in control panel.

on the Mouse tab, be sure the box is checked so that you enable Mouse keys.
