MCP61PM-HM motherboard drivers win 7

    hey guys im having alot of issues finding drivers for windows 7 for MCP61PM-hm motherboard lan sound and other drivers.. preparing to upgrade to win 7 but cant find drivers. if any1 can help me out it would be much apreciated.

    Hi

    Could you also post what PC make and model this motherboard is out of?

    The Chipset driver that Bill posted a link too should fix your issue up as the nvidia chipset drivers are a cover all type of thing, but incase the OEM (like Dell, HP, ACER etc) have installed custom audio etc then the make and model may help.

    its a hp. having issues atm with installing all im getting is a blue screen of death when it tries to install IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL working on fixing the issue now

    Hi

    Did you try the Nvidia driver that Bill posted above?
    What is the actual model version of HP, this info helps to find the system data for hardware etc as that BSOD is generally linked to a driver or application.
    What is the full BSOD message as at times it does tell you the faulting file, which can link us to the culprit and likely a fix.

    Likely its a driver issue, but boot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot) and see if you still get it.

    Have you installed any security software if so what?

    it's amazing how an old thread can still be useful.

    the page also has the win xp drivers for the MCP61HM-PM.

    I got a pieced together system handed down and couldn't find out what model hp it started as, so this helped immensely.

    I get IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL crashes in win xp 32bit quite often. Im hoping this will fix it.
