I have been getting this message for a few weeks now on various websites (FoxNews, Pandora...) line number changes from time to time.
I have googled it and get various ideas on how to resolve it but nothing seems to work.
I login into facebook once in a while but have not actually downloaded any type of link or connection program - to my knowledge.
Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I am running WinXP SR3 w/ IE8 - system is one I put together sometime ago and again -- this just started recently.

    Hi

At times its a browser add-on, generally a media one like Adobe Flash, Java etc so I would update them to see if that resolves this

Could also click the compabibility option in IE8 in a webpage that doesnt seem to work ok and see if that helps and info HERE

Could run IE in its Safe Mode and see if that helps to do this click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools and run Internet Explorer (no-addons) and goto your sites and see if they are ok?

Would be worth also testing another browser as in say Firefox or Opera etc to see if the sites work as they should, if not then its not a browser causing this and we will have to dig deeper.
