I purchased a Dell Latitude Lap Top. During Windows 98SE boot up there is a lengthy delay as it looks for a device that the system no longer has. Then the device driver aborts and Windows goes on it's merry way about 2 minutes later.(just seems like 2 minutes) I would like to delete this driver, as it's useless. I looked under Device Manager and under Add/Remove Software. I have done searches for the name in various ways and just can not find the driver. Is the driver actually under DOS and would this require me to find it in another way. I looked under most if not all driver files and there is nothing that matches the name. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this is a stupid Question, but I've really tried a lot of different areas. Thanks for your help!!!
