I have a 30gb laptop sony vaio and just reformatted last night, then added some essential softwares, basics. Now what is the best way to re-image my laptop and can be put back the way it was if ever it gets corrupted.
Keep in mind that I don't have an external HD and my plan is to create a secondary partition to store the backup file. I would like to put it on a CD but I don't think it's big enough to hold the image, unless a special program out there compresses it. Is there any? If there's anything free, much better.

My plan is to do this tonight. http://www.habibbijan.com/articles/ghost-windows-xp-for-free/
Has anybody done this before? Thanks guys.
