    Hi

What Windows version do you have installed now? the drivers we will suggest will depend on this.

But what I would do is no matter what Windows version you have, is to install the Chipset driver first and reboot then install your Audio driver, both can be found here for supported versions of Windows from Acer.

Drivers for ACER and your model here

Now if you have XP installed you will need really SP3 to be installed as it adds the HD Audio component which allows Audio to work properly.

You can also try the FixIts HERE to see if they can get audio to work. (would direct you to the relevant one but do not know what Windows version you now using but at the FixIt site click Music/Photos and Video and run the Using the Music App fixit for no sound.

Do also let us know if you have any Yellow ! marks in Device Manager and if so by what device, this will help us a lot.

    Hi

do run the below as written as your model of ACER is not a Windows 7 based one for drivers from ACER as they only went to XP and Vista, so you may have some driver issues, likely Chipset and Audio.

The log may help us find the correct drivers.
