So some bug seems to have slipped through my firewall and is now making a home in my computer. Unfortunately for me, it has decided to reside in the system32 folder. An example of what AVG has been detecting would be C:\WINDOWS\system32\fatxlqbl.dll

As I am by no means an expert when it comes to computers, I am always paranoid about removing something from the the system32 folder from my computer or even quarantining them. Is there someplace to go that will tell me if these files can be removed without causing harm to my computer? And if not, what alternatives do I have?
