Question Can someone help me with a game installation?

My windows operating system is Windows XP.

I am trying to install a game called "Chuzzle" from CD.
The installation gets to 95% and gives this message:
"Failed to create Link to 'C:Program FilesPopCap GamesChuzzle
DeluxeChuzzle.exe'"
I hit OK and it tells me that the installation was aborted and has not
been properly installed. The game will not work. I then uninstall Chuzzle for more attempts at loading it.

I contacted Popcap games and received this response:
"Hi, please delete the downloaded file, clear your temporary internet
cache, and download the game again. Please disable any download
accelerators you may be using, as they are often the cause of corrupt
files.
Please refer to windows help for more information if needed.
Most often when people are being interrupted to the desktop or it
causes an error, it is due to a
program that is set to alert you such as a firewall, virus checker,
spyware or update reminder. You will need to disable these alerts or
configure them to allow access to the games. There is also an issue with
Windows XP users who do not have administrator accounts, you will need to
have administrator rights to install and run software properly. Then
try again."

I have turned off Norton Internet Security and attempted the installation with no success. I remove the failed installation after each attempt.

I have successfully installed this game on my other computer (running Windows 98) twice--once when I received the CD and once after I uninstalled it and re-installed it to see if it would still work.
I'm not sure what these "download accelerators" or "administrator accounts" are.
Thank you for any assistance given.

I turned off Norton Internet Security, Spyware Guard and the firewall was disabled through Norton Internet Security. I'm at a loss. I installed the game on my older computer running Windows 98 and it was perfect. After having problems installing on this computer running Windows XP, I uninstalled the game on the Windows 98 computer and re-installed it there and it had no problems installing on that computer. So, I know the CD is good, I just can't figure out what is stopping it from installing on the XP. If you have any ideas, please feel free to contact me on Yahoo Messenger and I will try the installation while we converse there. I do use the voice option there.

Your user account has to have administrative rights ....not limited. So try login in as administrator and then try to install.

XP home or Pro .....go to control panel / user accounts ...look at your user name and see if it is set as an administrator.

My user account is already set as administrator.
As for XP Home or Pro, I don't know where to look to see which it is.

I would like to thank you for your assistance in my latest problem, lol.
I ran my NT Registry Optimizer and then successfully loaded the game onto my computer.
Thank you for this wonderful site. I will continue to frequent this site and have already told several people about it.
