    Hi there Major Geeks...

My XoftSpy SE detects Vundo Trojan and describes it as a SEVERE risk, Registry Key in the following location: software\microsoft\uniqdata.

I have opened regedit and deleted the unidata folder and run the XoftSpy SE which finds nothing on the first scan, however after a few minutes, if I run it again.... it's back! I disconnected my internet before scanning and left it so but still Vundo remains in the system.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my Vundo infection, but all my desktop icons including the Start bar (task bar) are missing and I am using my task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) to run access my programs.

Please could you help me resolve this?!

    Regards Tsavu8

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Run this Virtumonde aka Trojan Vundo Removal but run it multiple times until it comes up clean! Then attach the log from VundoFix here.

    What's your status now?
