    @Halo@

I lashed out the other day and bought a copy, on Friday 13th, with a 13% discount. :D

I have made 2 full backups of my HD (just for safety purposes) and now wish to do incremental (?) backups on a weekly (maybe daily) basis.

I saw that option when I initially installed it but cannot find it again.
The Wizard doesn't seem to help me get what I want.

Have you tried incremental backups on CD RW or DVD RW disks?

Do you have to clear data from a previous backup, or will Acronis overwrite on RW formatted disks?

Can you assist as I want to do incrental backups from a given date, or last full backup? Bazza

Thanks, PlexShaw.:) I was wondering what the latest version might be. Bazza
PS: Just visited their link. At AUD $40 it is not a cheap upgrade on a version that I purchased less than 1 week ago. Looks like I got took again. Baz

No, you need to register ATI9 (which you should do anyway) and then contact Acronis support via email to tell them that you just purchased it. Acronis have a policy of giving free upgrades to those users who purchase a previous version of ATI within 30 days of the new one being released (digital or store purchased), but you need to contact them directly via email and badger them to do so.

yesterday i updated to true image 10, and it seems to me that it became more user frindly and easy to use. also i was suprised by the new feature - backup my Outlook e-mails, i think it very useful. so i think that new version is very good.

Thanks again, PlexShaw. I will do.

I'm still having trouble trying to set up a backup procedure where I can do a backup at any time and it will backup all changes since my previous FULL backup.
I don't want it to add to a previous Full backup as it appears it wants to do.

I realise that the backups will grow in size but I will only have 2 places to go to re-instate an up-to-date backup.
    So far no success. Bazza

    Thanks, PlexShaw.:)
I contacted Acronis's representative here in OZ by phone.
    www.manac.com.au short for Manaccom P/L.

Apparently v10.o was only just released in OZ a week or so ago.
To cut a long story short, I explained the recent purchase to her.

She went away to contact someone in the Tech dept.
The result was she emailled me to fax a copy of my purchase receipt to them.

By return email, very quickly after I faxed them, I got a V10.o serial number and a download link.

As I am still on dialup (ADSL2+ real soon now they keep telling me ), I will duck over to my Toshiba store Service department and ask them to d/load it for me, on broadband.

That's my project for today. Thanks again. Bazza

I got my Toshiba shop to download the upgrade to V10 for me yesterday.
110+ megs, so a bit big for dialup. :D

Got the upgrade to v10 for free and the download to a CD for free, also.

Going to install v10 today. Bazza
