    anyone read the headlines today about titan

    "Seas of natural gas cover ‘flammable’ Titan"


    Ok, no oxygen=not flammable. Did they skip physics in highschool?

    When they heard "butane" and "propane" the thought "AH, its that stuff we put in lighters, to burn!!".... and neglected to remember what exactly burning is, which is combining with oxygen :rolleyes:

    If Titan was on Earth, it would be flamable!!

    "We've got a flammable world," said Toby Owen, an atmospheric scientist, at a news conference from European Space Agency offices in Paris monitored on NASA TV.

    "There's no source of oxygen available, which is a good thing or Titan would have exploded a long time ago," Owen said.
