ok so i went through the tutorial thing and got all the reports

maybe a month or so my problem started
ill go to a web site and things will all get selected when i dont select anything
ill go to close a browser window (x in corner) and that as well as whats ever under it will close

even when i go to type here things begin to get highlighted even when i just point to a word so i can add something between it

when im in programs i select an option - say click the text tool and it selects other things - im only clicking once

i have tried running various malware programs - there were a couple that found a bunch of stuff but had to pay to remove them

i guess i could wipe my drive and restart from scratch but id rather find a fix to the problem rather then do that

    any ideas?
ive attached all the logs i did running through the removal tutorial on here

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

This really does not sound like a malware problem, but you do have some junk to cleanup and you have a few other issues too. Like multiple antivirus programs installed and running and left overs from others. So let's clean this up and see what happens.

First you have both Microsoft Security Essentials and AVG running. You must begin by uninstalling one of these right now before continuing.

Uninstall the below programs. If you do not find them or they will not uninstall, just keep going.
    Java 7 Update 51
    Java(TM) 6 Update 35

Now install the current version of Sun Java from:
Make sure that when you install the new version of Java that you uncheck the Install the Ask Toolbar junkware checkbox. Also if it asks if you want to install McAfee Security Scan Plus that you uncheck this too. You do not need to add these unncessary items and to your PC. Also just in case Oracle changes the Java installation in the future to possibly install other junk, uncheck all but just installing Java.

Please download OTM by Old Timer and save it to your Desktop.
    • Run OTM.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, Win7 or Win8, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).
    • Copy the lines from the below codebox to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C
(or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy): Do not include the word Code: which is just a title line of
      the code box
    Code:
    :Processes
    explorer.exe
    :Services
    SBAMSvc

    :Files
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\SimpleFiles
    C:\Program Files (x86)\ParetoLogic
    C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software
    C:\ProgramData\Norton
    C:\windows\TEMP\*.*
    C:\Users\DZine GraphX\AppData\Local\Temp\*.*

    :Reg
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{C83E0985-AABF-40FD-8D56-8EF300155DD2}]
    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes\{C83E0985-AABF-40FD-8D56-8EF300155DD2}]
    :Commands
    [purity]
    [EmptyTemp]
    [start explorer]

    [Reboot]
    • Return to OTM, right click in the Paste List of Files/Folders to Move window (under the yellow bar
      ) and choose Paste.
    • Now click the large [IMG] button.
    • If OTM asks to reboot your computer, allow it to do so. The report should appear in Notepad after the reboot.
    • Close OTM.
Now navigate to the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles folder ( assuming your Windows drive is C). This is where your log will be
saved in the form of Date and Time mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log. Just look for the most recent .log file. Attach
this log file to your next message.

Now run the below to reset your Chrome browser to default settings:

    Reset Chrome to Defaults

Now please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Note: That JRT may reset your home page to a google default so you will need to restore your home page setting if this happens.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.
Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, Win7 or Win8, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles log
    • the JRT.TXT log
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

well making progress thats for sure

after running otm it rebooted (said it had to) the computer started a heck of alot faster ..........

not sure totally how things are - i run a sign making software similar to photoshop and ill have to see how things work in that - like i said id click the text tool and end up getting other stuff popping up

but ill tell you so far things have improved - its boots as fast as it used to
during this "problem" it would take forever to load and have things appear on the desktop

i uninstalled avg - not sure whats a good virus program to use. i normally use avg but i had installed the microsoft one to try and scan for malware and try to get rid of what ever problem this is.

may i ask what you suggest for a virus program - is there something "free" that can be used?

and im running windows 7 64 bit just so you know
im fairly knowledgable for the most part on computers but this ones really got me stumped - wouldnt consider myself a pro by all means - expert maybe?

anyways i really appreciate your help thus far and i have attached the latest logs

    thank you

    You're welcome.
The major contributor towards this was the multiple antivirus programs you had running.

Avast, Avira, Comodo, and many others noted in the below

How to Protect yourself from malware!

So now after having run it a little longer, is everything working okay?

well it was running ok but i ended just redoing it from scratch

there was alot of old stuff all junk all over the place - so i took the time to put all my pics and docs and everything in folders

get the latest drivers for my hardware etc

then did formated and did a clean install of windows
got ride of any extra crap that i didnt need or got installed - toolbars - crap that comes on a new pc you never use

and got a new mouse - so things are running much faster and smoother
