They'll have to put a hold on the road tax in inner London for the duration...

 

London, one of the most expensive (if not the most expensive) tourist cities in the world to visit. Great place for tourists to visit as far as $$$$, pounds, euros, are concerned. I don't think. I suppose the locals will get the lions share of the tickets, though, as always happens.

Look at the security around Gleneagles for the G8 meeting.
Imagine how it is going to be in London, if terrorism, and Al Qaueda, are still as promininent as they are now. It will be almost impossible to move around London, freely, I would guess. Still best of luck, London. Bazza

How many roads were closed for Live8? How many tube services were out of action for Live8? How much agro was caused to everyone for getting to or even near Live8?

Sheesh, we can't even handle our own inhabitants, lest any other visitors...

I have a horrible feeling its going to hit me when I'm in uni, or just left, in the form of prohibitave increaces in taxes/living costs in the "Olympic City".
