Windows update keeps turning off

When I turn on my PC windows update is turned off so I turn back on but when I turn my PC back on windows update is back off. I have Windows 7 & Norton 360 & Malwarebytes Pro. I run Windows update fits & I get Missing or corrupt files. How can I fixs this?

Hi

You could try the following two options and http://support.microsoft.com/mats/windows_update/

and http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows7/open-the-windows-update-troubleshooter

See if they can fix your Windows Update and reboot once they have run.

Also try Windows update with Norton and Malwarebytes Pro disabled, just in case they are corrupting the downloads, rare but could happen.

It work for two reboots I dont when to do a total restart if I dont have to.You think I have a virus.

I having the same problem. Windows update keeps turning off after i turn on my computer. I'm running Vista.
