Compaq Presario S5100NX CD-RW not recognised by Nero

    I am at a loss I hope someone here can offer an old gent some help. My Compaq Presario S5100NX, has IDE DVD-ROM 48x24x48, and an IDE CD-RW. I cannot seem to get Nero Burning Rom to see the CD-RW, I have looked on Compaq/HP's web site and cannot find what type of drive they put in the 5100, so I can not find an update for the CD-RW driver.

    If any one has any Ideas I would appreciate it.
