Ok im thinking of getting a new graphics card, or should i stick with the one i got?

My current one is ATI Radeon X600 Series 256mb

Some of the ones i looked into:

    MSI GeForce 7300 GS TurboCache

    eVGA GeForce 7300 GS

    eVGA GeForce 6600 LE

These are just some of the ones i looked at. If you can sujest anything under $110 PCI-E that would be great.

    Thanks.

Don't forget it's an 6600 LE and not a GT.

Performance improvement, if any, won't be great.

you can snag a 7600gs for about 125. If find one with a rebate, such as one from newegg, possibly closer to 100. Ive seen some x800 and x1600 cards around that price range too.

You'v picked a kind of deadzone in the pricerange really spending 30-40 more will get you a much better card and will be well worth the money IMHO :)

A 7600GT would also be a great choice if you can save the extra dollars. Example

i used to be a fan of ati until a tried nvidia, personally my favorite nvidia brand is BFG, that's about the best but seeing as you don't want to spend lots of money i would go with this one Asus Geforce 7600GS

XxMorpheusxX, what are your system specs?

How much money do you have to spend maximum?

As far as the ASUS 7600GS, don't get a passively cooled card unless you have excellent case ventilation.

well that's a given, but he did not say what kinda case he has, and most cases cooled right should handle it easily.

I use ATI and Nvidia cards. They are both excellent.

The X1600 Pro is a decent card. For the money I think you get more bang for the buck out of Nvidia at the moment. 6800, 6800GT, 7600GT, 7800GT, any of these cards would be a step up for you.

OR if you really need to save money a 6600GT but the performance on those are only a little better than say a Radeon 9800Pro.

X1600XT is a fine ATI card. the pro version is a bit slower.
X800 GTO is a very sweet buy at the moment.
