I dont think it was the 32 gb limit because I when I first installed it, my orignial hd stated 80 gig as it is and the new one said 127gb, even though it's actually a 160. This is also the reason I was fiddling with the disk that came with the seagate hd. Somewhere on that disk was a program or an option to set the disk size, which i also cannot relocate that option or software again to correct what I did wrong. I do feel I had a limit of 127gb and I was wondering if what you're saying is true about updating the motherboard's bios will correct whatever I changed that caused this problem. I'm not really a computer genius, can you tell me how to find out what kind of motherboard I have so I can begin my search for those bio updates?
