Which is faster for a thumb drive: FAT or FAT32?

    Which is faster? For larger thumb drives, is FAT32 preferable? I read the NTFS would require you to eject it each time, and not work on other OS's.

    ntfs would work fine for any present day OS, back to win2k.

    Generally speaking, unless its a small drive, fat32 is best.
