Hey all. I need some help please.

My buddy went and purchased a d-link wireless router to hook up his three computers. We set up the router as instructed and got internet connection on the 2 lan line computers but his laptop wouldnt connect to the wireless signal. we tinkered around in the routers firmware and noticed that all three computers had sepearte ip addresses (which is good). Now we finally got the laptop talking to the network but his main computer (windows 2000) is not connecting anymore. Last night we had the Windows XP computer and the laptop working just fine. We couldnt get his computer to talk to the network. Could there be a setting or something we are missing in windows 2000. Im not famillar with this version. Please Help

    Thanks
