Need help with this one,...On my drives I was wondering about compressing disk drive to get more space,..this would be my C drive(Master) most of my programs are on this drive,...But was wondering if doing this would screw up my computer and if this would be a wise thing to do???
What I am doing is right-clicking on the master drive and then Properties and at the bottom it says "Compress drive to save disk space",...should I check the box to do this????:confused

    In my opinion, NO.

I am not sure what your specs are since you do not list them but if you need more space just get another HDD and use/configure it as a slave to your primary drive.

    Good Luck

i agree, dont do it. will slow down your pc big time, and with hdds being cheap as they are just get even a 80GB drive or something like that
