Something is Constantly Downloading! What is it?!?

There is something that is constantly connected to the internet and is downloading something. it is annoying to see something taking up my internet and i didn't autorize it. i ran spyware programs, antivirus, and put up a firewall and nothing seems to stop it. it has never happened before about 2 weeks ago. can anyone help me with this one?

windows update perhaps?
Look in your running tasks or firewall (if you have one) for authorized apps.

no, windows is not updating. it is a continuous thing that happens 24/7 and only takes up about 2-3mbps at one time.

This is better than "Ctrl-Alt-Del" and better than "msconfig". Bazza

What firewall did you install? as this should on install alert you to all outgoing traffic.
