Fresh XP Install, missing GFX & audio drivers

Also, this may be unrelated, but I am unable to access my flash drive (an alert informs me that the "Disk in Drive [x] is not formatted", and prompts me to format it now. Even if I wanted to, however, I couldn't, as the format fails. I say this because I have the appropriate graphics driver on my flash drive (though not audio), so I had hoped I would at least knock out 1 of two problems beforehand.

Anyways, after the new XP installation, I am missing the graphics driver (which is not available at Intel's site), as well as my audio driver (which I've never been able to correctly identify in previous installations, instead opting for large driver packs).

Attached a copy of my EVEREST report.txt file. Any help would be greatly appreciated! And help with accessing the USB drive would be a plus, too :)

Thanks for starting out with the Everest report in your 1st post, it really helps to get things moving....

    Here's your drivers....
    Chipset: http://support.dell.com/support/dow...0&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=-1&impid=-1
    Audio: http://support.dell.com/support/dow...0&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=-1&impid=-1
    Video: http://support.dell.com/support/dow...-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=6&fileid=137451
    Network/Ethernet: http://support.dell.com/support/dow...=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=5&fileid=84196

Install the drivers in the same order as they are listed here (the chipset first) and restart the PC after each driver has been installed. As to the USB problem, try the drive on a different PC and see what happens. If it's OK, then try it again after all the drivers have been installed. If it only has problems on the one PC, try a different USB device and let us know what happens.... good luck!

Thank you for such quick - and accurate - support! Everything is working just fine now, I'm very grateful :)

As for the USB drive, it seems to only be an issue with that particular drive. All of my other keys work flawlessly. It's not much of a problem, though, as I was able to extract the contents through my openSuse partition and place them onto another drive. All is well.

Again, many thanks for your help! I've gone ahead and emailed the drivers to myself for future Windows installations on this machine ;) Thanks again, dlb - I know that I'll be visiting this forum quite often, you guys are great!

    Edit//

Formatted the key with a third-party application (HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool), and now even that pen drive is working again. Don't know what happened in the first place, but everything is back to normal again. :)
