I have 2 computers both running Windows XP. My ISP is Yahoo DSL and I use a Speedstream 5100 modem. What is the most simple and cost effective way to allow both computers to have simultaneous internet access with just the one modem?

    :confused

Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed to be shared.
Go to Help and Support and type in Internet Connections Sharing --> it will walk you thru it.
    Or....buy a router.

I was gonna say. Me and my roomie have 1 actual internet connection running to a wireless router. We've had as many as 5 different computers running off it at the same time and never experienced any lagging or other problems.
